The Yellow-Bellied Coward Award goes to the studios that released Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married?, Resident Evil: Extinction, Ghost Rider, Awake, Halloween, The Invisible, Saw IV, Kickin' It Old Skool, The Hills Have Eyes II, The Comebacks, Feel the Noise, Death Sentence, War, Illegal Tender, Skinwalkers, I Know Who Killed Me, Who's Your Caddy?, DOA: Dead or Alive, Delta Farce, Firehouse Dog, et al—the 2007 films not screened for critics. (A few of these charmers played for critics on the night before opening at 7:30pm or even in some cases as late as 9 or 10pm. These are the times when you see "TOO LATE FOR REVIEW" in your morning paper, though some particularly hardy internet critics will burn the midnight oil to review them.) And a "special citation" to 20th Century Fox, which for a time in 2007 held off most press from seeing films like The Simpsons Movie and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer until the same night they played to paying audiences (Fox since reconsidered the policy).

Coolest Titles: Hot Fuzz, I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story.

Worst Titles: The Brave One, Aliens vs. Pedator: Requiem, In the Land of Women, The Last Mimzy.

Aptest Titles: Are We Done Yet?, Next, Shoot 'Em Up, The Condemned.

Inaptest Titles: Good Luck Chuck, No Reservations.
